The Louvain GameLab (ex-Laboratoire Jeux et Mondes Virtuels) brings together a group of researchers from the Académie Louvain interested in (video) games and virtual worlds. A member of the GameMax cluster, the Louvain GameLab is particularly interested in the use and effects of (video) games and virtual worlds, such as sociability, educational effects, professional uses and so on. The Louvain GameLab is based in Louvain-la-Neuve and Mons, with the EduPlay Lab on the Mons-Fucam campus and the OpenHub MiiL Tech Village on the Louvain-la-Neuve campus. As such, the Louvain GameLab is a potential partner in digital or hybrid innovation projects where academic input is a source of value. Louvain GameLab can be contacted via GameMax or OpenHub.
