It's time to vote for your favorite video game soundtrack of the year! Film Fest Gent - aka the Ghent Film Festival - is featuring, for the very first time, an audience award celebrating the art of game music.
For the first time in its history, the WSA (World Soundtrack Awards) are honoring music written for games and other interactive media. With the first WSA Game Music Award for the best soundtracks of the past year, the Ghent festival is giving game music the attention it deserves. And the best part? It's up to you to decide who will win the first WSA Game Music Award! Voting is open from now on until August 21, 202311:59 pm (W. Europe Standard Time). In mid-September, the five nominated scores will be announced, and nominees will be invited to join the Festival for the concert PRESS PLAY: Music in Gameswhere the winner will be announced.
