The Belgian Game Awards are back and bigger than ever! Get ready for a dazzling awards ceremony, a two-day video game exhibition and a Steam event to celebrate the best video games Belgium has to offer!
The Belgian Game Awards, organized by FLEGA and Belgian Games with the support of various partners in the Belgian video game ecosystem, are set to make a glorious return this year. Entries for the awards open today, and Belgian developers are eager to showcase their best work.
The highlight of this year's event will be the live Belgian Game Awards 2024 ceremony scheduled for the evening of October 18 at Brussels Expo. In addition, at Gameforce on October 19 and 20, video game fans will be able to discover and play the games of the nominees and winners. With the combination of Gameforce, Made in Asia and Heroes Comic Con, we're looking forward to celebrating the biggest gaming event Belgium has ever seen.
Then, in addition to the live ceremony and exhibition, a week-long event called the "Belgian Game Awards Steam Event" will be held to celebrate this year's nominated games. The event will also feature winners and nominees from previous years, creating a comprehensive showcase of Belgian gaming talent. The exact dates of the Steam event will be announced shortly.
The Belgian Game Awards have a rich history of rewarding outstanding games and studios. Some of the outstanding games and studios from previous editions include Divinity Original Sin 2 (Larian Studios), Nanotale (Fishing Cactus), The Almost Gone (Happy Volcano), and Spookware (Beeswax).
