The Belgian event that brings together the video game industry will take place from October 24 to 26, 2024 at Quai10 in Charleroi.
For its 9th edition, Meet & Build takes things to the next level! WALGA is delighted to welcome numerous international delegations and participants from European countries (France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Greece, Albania, Croatia...) and other continents (Japan, Brazil, Mexico...). Publishers, studios, start-ups, schools and many more will be taking part. But what does the event actually look like?
3-DAY PROGRAM
- Thursday 24/10: International Meetings
Presentations by invited industry associations, studios, service providers and schools from different countries and regions. The matchmaking application and a dozen tables in the Brasserie du Quai10 will enable you to set up 1:1 meetings between studios (co-productions, work for hire, etc.), between schools (course, teacher and student exchange programs) and with students (internships). At the end of the day, a networking drink will bring all participants together for a pleasant end to the first day.
- Friday 25/10: Business Meetings
Business meetings with more than 20 international publishers (Plug in Digital, Playdigious, Nocturne Games, Ishtar Games have already confirmed), VC's and Belgian public funds will also take place with the application in the meeting space at the Brasserie. In addition to reverse pitches with investors, a pitch session with start-ups and, for the first time this year, workshop sessions with international experts will also be organized in the afternoon.

- Saturday 26/10: Conferences
Conferences and round tables in English with over 20 speakers from all five continents will take place in 4 rooms with different themes: Art & Creativity, Tech & Production, Business & Marketing and Culture & Society. The topics will be varied and will enable everyone to enrich their knowledge of the industry and establish contacts with the speakers.
