Rocket Frites V5: €1,000 to be won in a Belgian tournament (RTBF)

Rocket Frites, the Belgian Rocket League 100% tournament, is back in force for its fifth edition! An integral part of the Fiber Frites Tour in partnership with Proximus, these tournaments aim to further esport in Belgium.

All Belgian residents, regardless of level, can take part in this second stage of the Fiber Frite Tour on Rocket League. Each participant will receive entry to the Winter Geek Festival, which takes place in December in La Louvière, and a chance to win a PlayStation 5! Well, it won't have Starfield on it, but it's a great spin on Rocket League, Trackmania and Gran Turismo, the three games on the Fiber Frites Tour.

Once again, registration is open to everyone, as long as you live in Belgium! More information on event website.

The Rocket League tournament will take place in two qualification phases and in 3v3 format, of course. These two online qualifiers will take place on Tuesday September 19 and the second on Saturday September 23. Both take place at 8:00 p.m., but have a shorter check-in at 7:00 pm!

Each qualification consists of 2 stages:

• Swiss round (5 rounds): In each round, teams with similar results compete against each other. At the end, the 4 teams with the most points advance to the next stage.
• Bracket: Teams compete in classic seeding (first vs. last, etc.). All matches are BO3 (first to 2 wins).

A Grand Final at Gameforce

Lan-Area and DH eSports have joined forces once again to bring you Belgian Rocket League 100% at Gameforce, taking place from September 30 to October 1 at Heysel.

Find them on the Lan-Area/DH eSports stand from Saturday for the Grand Final at 3:00 p.m. The rest of the day will also be devoted to Rocket League.

Sunday but you can test Judgeballa game developed by Wild Bishop, a development studio based in Liège! Similar to Rocket League, it's no longer about cars, but about characters with unique powers. We can't wait! More information and tournament registration at Fiber Tour website.
